From Rick Morgan: I'm sorry it has taken me so long to
reply as we were in Europe for nearly 3 weeks. Yes I do have a sister. And yes
her name is Karen. I don't know if you remember, But you tutored me thru the 6th
grade at Kathryn Hughes. And helped me in many of my other subjects in school.
You'll always be in my memories for that and I do thank you. From Richard S.: Dear Cynthia, It was very nice to
hear from you. From your note it sounds as if you have learned to continue
excellent educational practices... You obviously have pursued knowledge and
interests with great enthusiasm. You have admirably influenced your fellow
classmates. Would you please
elaborate on Fritz and Itchy? I know that Fritz had some emotional turmoil after
shooting a robbery suspect, but I have not heard anything about Itchy or Jeff
Heth. I tend to make
contacts with a few of our high school friends, but then drop the ball for
months (sometimes years) at a time. My family is fine. We
are getting ready to drive to Seattle for my daughter's graduation on Sunday.
First college graduate among my children. The youngest son was going to west
valley but he wants to transfer to a school in Florida. He is the author of
several unpublished short stories and at least two incomplete books. I don't
know why this is such a small font. I can't see to correct my mistyping,
spelling or grammar. Dear Cynthia, I really appreciate your collection of resources on the ancientskybridge.com website, http://www.ancientskybridge.com/webquest.htm. I became interested in English grammar and writing after I was assigned a research project in the field. While doing said research, I ended up finding a great article here: http://www.onlinecollegeclasses.org/grammar-writing, that covers all areas of improving ones grammar and writing. I also came across your site and thought I might pass this link on to you as a thank you for your wonderful resources. I know this article would be a great addition to your information, and I'm sure that it could help many of your users. Let me know what you think! Best Wishes, Lindsey Newman Cynthia Gallagher As President of the Future Teachers' Club in Sunnyvale during the late '60s, I tutored so many students that I also worked with the President of the Teachers' Association in Santa Cruz between 1969 and 1070, until I ventured to acquire a Press Card through the Ferndale Enterprise where my Dad David Edward Kellems was the chief editor and pressman in 1970. Hw was aggrieved that we were robbed unjustly of the home that he had acquired through his GI bill when he returned from Korea. |
